What is the Makerere University Technology Innovation Center (MUTIC)?

MUTIC is a multidisciplinary innovation hub at Makerere University, established in partnership with UNDP under the Timbuktoo Initiative. It provides resources, training, and facilities to foster innovation, entrepreneurship, and impactful solutions for societal challenges.

Who can benefit from MUTIC?

MUTIC is open to university students and faculty, youth innovators outside the university, and private sector collaborators. It is designed to support innovators across disciplines to develop and commercialize their ideas.

What facilities are available at MUTIC?

MUTIC is equipped with a Makerspace, Design Lab, Textile Lab, CNC Workshop, Collaborative Spaces, and a Technology Transfer Office. These facilities enable prototyping, product development, and research commercialization.

How do I get involved with MUTIC?
