The Makerere University Technology & Innovation Centre (MUTIC) is a multidisciplinary innovation hub established in partnership with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) under the Timbuktoo Initiative. Launched in 2024–2025, MUTIC empowers youth, researchers, and entrepreneurs to transform ideas into real-world solutions through maker spaces, incubation, and commercialization support, driving technological growth and socio-economic development in Uganda.
